Shuaa Securities to deploy video-conferencing

Brokerage firm Shuaa Securities is set to deploy video conferencing systems and wireless touch-panel interfaces in its latest Corniche Abu Dhabi branch.

The video conferencing technology, from Polycom, will be used by traders and Shuaa staff to link to other Shuaa branches in Abu Dhabi and Dubai Financial Market. The conference systems will also use wireless control systems, according to project integrator Alpha Data.

Mustafa Abu Al Haija, network engineer at Shuaa Securities, said: "Shuaa Securities always promotes a secure investment environment and we are very keen to assisting our customers in realising their highest investment potential using advanced brokerage solutions."

"We are extremely proud with the upcoming opening of our Corniche branch. Our clients will be assured that this is for our continuous quest in further enhancing our services and accommodate more people interested in trading," he added.

Installation of the systems will start in July, and will include Samsung LCD panels, Crestron wireless touch panels and Extron matrix switches, as well as the Polycom video systems.

"Alpha Data is delighted to have been chosen by Shuaa Securities to deploy all the AV equipment needed in its conference room; it's another milestone for us given that this is for an opening of a new branch," said Essam Al-Hamdan, sales executive at Alpha Data.
