The UAE's SS Lootah Group and Italian construction giant Tec Inn Innovative Technologies have formed a joint venture to provide specialised construction services in the region.
Tec Inn specialises in research, development, testing and the installation of advanced materials and innovative technologies. It focuses on conservation, retrofit, strengthening, improvement and the structural restoration of all types of civil and industrial buildings.
The company has also tested and patented technological retrofit-strengthening systems aimed to mitigate dynamic and blast effects on structures that can place equipment and people in buildings at risk.
Dynamic effects include seismic, wind and traffic effects.
The Italian firm will collaborate with SS Lootah Contracting as a technology and resource partner, to expand the scope of the Emirati company.
Engineer Yahya Lootah, vice chairman and CEO of SS Lootah, said the partnership would bring unique services to the region that will add value to the growing construction sector and help nurture local talent in offering specialised services."
