by Lucy Taylor on Monday, 07 July 2008
Hilton Hotels Corporation (HHC) announced the re-opening of its international sales office in Saudi Arabia in a bid to boost outbound sales over the summer.
The office, in the Kingdom's capital city of Riyadh, will be headed by Ahmed Dahmash, who takes on the role of director of international sales in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
Guy Epsom, Hilton's regional director of sales and marketing - Arabian Peninsula and Indian Ocean, commented: "In his new role, Ahmed will be responsible for the international sales office in Saudi Arabia, selling our 3,000 Hilton Family properties worldwide. The re-opening of the international sales office is well timed to coincide with the busy outbound summer holiday season."
Dahmash added: "Saudi Arabian residents have tremendous interest in travelling internationally especially now during the peak summer period. I am very excited to be taking on this role with so many new hotels and destinations to promote in our worldwide portfolio".
