They say he who dares wins - and when it comes to a company that likes to take risks there's no better example than Virgin.

With its maverick leader Richard Branson at the helm, nearly every gamble it has taken has paid off.

But as we hear from Virgin Galactic president Will Whitehorn it is about to take its biggest and potentially riskiest gamble yet.

It has invested millions of dollars in a project that could make it the world's first space tourism operator. And as Whitehorn reveals in our exclusive interview if the project takes-off it could lead to Virgin making some major scientific breakthroughs.

Whitehorn is not the only risk taker we profile this month. Also featured is Steve Wozniak - the Apple founder who created the first Apple I and Apple II computers in the 1970s.

He dropped out of university and along with Steve Jobs sold his possessions to make the first prototypes of the Apple computer - a computer that was light years ahead of those currently on the market.

And look where he is today.

These examples prove that sometimes it best to ignore your fears and defy your critics to follow your dream. And if the dream comes true then it could be the one that makes you millions.
