Jumbo pushes to Excel in retail

UAE-based consumer electronics and technology retailer Jumbo Electronics has entered into an agreement with Polaris Retail Infotech Limited (PRIL) to distribute an exclusive new product, Retail Excel, across the GCC.

Polaris Retail Infotech Excel is an internationally renowned provider of end-to-end solutions across retail industry verticals, offering products and services, consulting and outsourcing that address a range of needs of retailers including building efficient check-out systems, merchandise and planning systems, supply chain management systems to specialised offerings such as e-tailing.

“This relationship with PRIL will provide a completely new innovative and robust technology for increasing efficiency in retail for customers in the region with a reduced Total Cost of Ownership,” commented Arvind Sahay, head - Enterprise Solutions Division, Jumbo Electronics Co. Ltd LLC.

The newly-launched PRIL Retail Excel is a comprehensive application suite embodying the mandatory functionality of a typical business while providing ample scope for configuration and customisation to each retailer’s business needs.
