'Several world-class hotels' will overlook the newly created shoreline of Rakeen's planned Dana Island project in Ras Al Khaimah, UAE.
The project is planned to extend 7km into the sea, adding an estimated 53km to the shoreline of the emerging emirate.
Rakeen board member Wahid Attalla said the project would become "one of the UAE's most sought-after multi-purpose developments".
The Dana Island design includes a main stem in three parts, with 10 leaf-shaped islands.
