There are over 40 different kinds of stone available, all extracted from a quarry in Madagascar and sent to the Middle East from a factory in Mauritius.
Meanwhile, designers, fitters and architects conjure up unique, hand-made masterpieces for homes, offices, hotels, palaces and yachts with an emphasis on the unique quality of the product as opposed to selling mass volume.
Cut-to-size pieces made out of Agate, Carnelian, Jasper, Amethyst, Quartz to name just a few, add a touch of sparkling splendor, to art work, floors, walls, bathrooms, table tops, desks and waterfall features and clients across the region appear to be eagerly following this new, fashion trend.
The company takes part in six or seven exhibitions a year throughout the Middle East, relishing the chance to show off alternative designs from its international and local architects.
Until this point, potential clients usually have their own ideas and style in mind but Borro says this often changes when customers visit the showrooms and see the beautiful contemporary artwork already in place.
"Our partnerships with grand five-star hotels and prestigious developers such as Emaar and Trident Residences further prove our preeminent position in the field of décor and interior fit-out. We are delighted to be part of reputable agreements with prominent first-class organizations," says Borro.
The Fairmont Hotel, Radisson SAS, Marriott, Grand Hyatt, Intercontinental, The Sheraton Creek, The Hilton, Rotana, Le Meridien, Shangri-La Hotel, Mandarin Oriental Hotel as well as the Michael Schumacher building, are all part of the Amazing Stone portfolio.
Such high-end clients can also be attributed to the company's cooperation with Hirsh Bedner Associates (HBA) and WA International, two of the world's most successful design companies, as well as the strategic partnerships in place with four Italian fit-out companies - Fornasarig, Vitrani, Altelune and Calvasina - all specialists in interiors for the hospitality industry and private clients.
"Through our collaboration agreements with four Italian interior companies, Fornasarig has delivered furniture to Le Meridien, Radisson SAS, Rotana, Shangri-La, Mandarin Oriental, Marriott and the Hilton. Vitrani, Altelune and Calvasina have provided exceptional designs to private residences," claims Borro.
