Low cost carrier, Air Arabia has signed an agreement with IT provider, Russell Adams, to adopt a new software platform to manage the airline's requirements.
Enterprise:airline has been designed to encompass all areas of the airline's business including, engineering, operations, logistics, system and financial control, human resources and administration.
Mohamed Al Kassimi, director of engineering and aircraft acquisition, Air Arabia, said: "Our decision to choose 'enterprise:airline‘ was based on the enormous improvements in efficiency this software has brought to our business in less than six months. At Air Arabia, we are renowned for achieving the highest levels of operational efficiency and productivity, and this software will help us maintain our industry leadership in this area."
Richard Vorias, business development director of Russell Adams' group said he is confident this new technology will add value to the managerial efficiency of Air Arabia's operations. "The software replaces airline's legacy systems not only by meeting detailed specifications on time and within budget, but the programme's architecture is specifically designed to provide a flexible toolkit," he added.
