So far so good. There's been quite a bit of interest in our products from the local hotels and I hope to get some business from visiting The Hotel Show this year. It's the third year that we have visited The Hotel Show, so we are very interested in the GCC market and we want to work a lot more with the new hotels in this region.

Why are you interested in the GCC market?

We want to work with this market because there is a big future, and with so many hotel developments in the GCC region we can do some big business here. We have already started working with InterContinental Hotels Group across the Middle East.

What are the current furniture trends in the Middle East?

It depends, it can change, but the quality and design of our products is ideal for the Middle East market and I think we can place our products here. Our products are medium to high quality, so I think we can cater to the four or five-star hotels.

What are your aims for the Middle East market?

Our target is to increase the sales of our products. We have an agent here in Dubai already working towards this goal and helping to grow our business in this market. At the moment he only works in Dubai, but that may change. At present we sell to the other markets in the GCC direct, but we hope in future to have an agent in each GCC country.
