NSCC wins Dubai Sports City enabling works contract

NSCC is to provide enabling works for the Arena Mall at Dubai Sports City, the sporting venue project in the larger Dubailand development.

The contract includes site preparation, shoring works and the excavation of 1.1m cubic metres of dirt. Work is expected to take around seven months and should begin in August. Excavation and shoring are the initial steps required to construct the three basement levels of the Arena Mall complex, which will house over 7000 car parking spaces.

DSC selected NSCC for the contract because of their previous track record, according to Khalid Al Zarooni, Dubai Sports City president.
