QTel names new chairmain of Oman unit

Qatar Telecommunications Co's (Qtel) Omani unit Nawras said on Sunday it had appointed Sheikh Salim bin Mostahail Al-Mashani as chairman.

Sheikh Mashani, who also serves as an adviser at the Royal Diwan, will replace Sheikh Saif Hashil Al-Maskery, who remains on the board of Nawras, the firm said in a statement.
