Firefighters brought under control a fire which had raged in a hanger at Jordan's main international airport on Sunday, officials said.
There were no reports of casualties. The officials said scores of firefighters had earlier battled the blaze close to the runway from the main terminal at the airport, some 25 km (15 miles) south of the capital Amman.
Prime Minister Nader al-Dhabi, who visited the scene of the fire, ordered an immediate investigation. Officials said the incident did not appear to be security-related. (Reuters)
