Taufeer.com opens online markets to Saudi retailers

Taufeer.com has launched an online service to enable retailers in Saudi Arabia to get their products online.

The E-Channel service includes a mix of online tools and services that will allow retailers to establish online stores, market and sell their products online.

Yasser Abdullah, founder and CEO of Taufeer.com said: "Taufeer.com is focused on creating the most effective e-commerce environment for retailers in the region. Using our service portfolio, retailers can save millions in capital investment and operational costs while gaining immediate access to over five million internet users in Saudi Arabia. Our world class e-commerce infrastructure is now available to all retailers in the kingdom along with our advanced reporting and analysis tools."

E-Channel will give a single centralized interface through which retailers can manage their online presence, and will also include inventory management, product mix management, online payment service via credit card, logistics and delivery, and order management solution. Retailers will also get access to networking tools to stay in touch with customers.

Taufeer.com. part of Taufeer Information Systems, have developed the service to take into account the concerns of local retail organizations said Abdullah.

"From day one, we built our model to fit the current market environment. We only charge for actual sales, and our fees start from as low as 1%; far below the industry average of 6%. We are confident retailers will quickly realize the full potential of Taufeer.com E-Channel service."
