Ahmed Rushdy will be taking training programmes on the road to reach resellers, with courses in Arabic and English.

Comstor Middle East is set to embark on a training programme to educate reseller partners in the region on the latest Cisco SMB solutions.

The company, which belongs to the Westcon Group, will begin rolling out its ‘On Road Bilingual Training Programme for SMB' after recruiting Ahmed Rushdy from CAD Gulf to spearhead the initiative.

Rushdy, who has been appointed senior technical consultant, will be responsible for local partner education, pre-sales support and technical consultancy through Comstor's OneVoice and OneDefence programmes.

One of Rushdy's first tasks will be to head the ‘Cisco Unified Communications On Road Training programme', which is designed to educate resellers on the networking vendor's UC 500 series for small businesses. The initiative will kick off in the UAE before moving to other key markets in the Middle East.

"The unified communications on road campaign being unveiled by Ahmed in both Arabic and English is one of the unique initiatives by Comstor Middle East in this region," said Steve Lockie, group managing director at Westcon Middle East. ‘We are committed to be the resellers' first choice for advanced communications and networking project support and Ahmed's appointment reinforces our capabilities."
