An Indian worker died after falling from the eighth-floor of a high-rise tower under construction in Ras Al Khaimah.

The construction of the eighth floor had been completed and the man was cleaning up. He had taken the construction debris and was emptying it in a container attached to the crane, witnesses said.

One witness said that as he emptied the debris into the container, the crane moved, overturning the container and he fell. He was crushed under the debris.

His colleagues tried desperately to dig him out. Police were called and he was dug out of the rubble.

What a pathetic end of the poor innocent man.Whoever responsible & whatever may be the cause for the mishap, but it is sure there are is such a lack of safety and security in the construction field of U.A.E. I am sure the man was not trained about his work safety in such a height.
