The daughter of Dubai ruler Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum jumps into action in Beijing later today.
Sheikha Latifa Al Maktoum will be taking part in the horse jumping competition at the Olympics and she says she is working hard to achieve a good result.
Calm and composed, but determined to do her best to win, Sheikha Latifa said: "We are working hard, but without haste to make any judgments on the results."
Sheikha Latifa goes into the qualifying competition on her horse Kalaska De Semilly.
She had qualified earlier last year through a brilliant effort which helped her clock 47.72 seconds in the Jump-off in the Individual Qualifier for 2008 Olympic Games held in Qatar.
