Kenwood sponsors Ramadan programming

Kitchen appliance manufacturer Kenwood has joined forces with Abu Dhabi TV to sponsor 30 episodes of cooking show Matbkh Manal (Manal’s Kitchen) during Ramadan.

The show is hosted by TV chef, Manal Al Alem, who is a popular personality on Arabic television.

During the daily cooking programme, which targets Arabic women, Al Alem will be joined by guests whilst she shares her famous recipes and valuable cooking tips. The programmes will feature tips on how to use Kenwood appliances while offering recipes and insights into the preparation of Arabic appetisers, main dishes and desserts.

“I have personally used a Kenwood Kitchen Machine for many years. Knowing how to use the proper tools certainly enhances the cooking experience, and we will be including information on how to use the array of attachments to help reduce your time in the kitchen whilst giving a professional appearance to the end result,” explained Al Alem.

While the television programme targets Arabic audiences, Al Alem is also a keen proponent of Arabic cuisine to non-Arabic speakers.
