Agility in $140mn US Marine deal

Kuwait's Agility, the Gulf's biggest logistics provider by market value, said on Monday it had won a contract with the US Marine Corp worth a a total of $140 million over seven years.
The deal was to store, distribute and maintain equipment at 20 bases around the world, Agility said in a statement.
The one-year contract includes six one-year options and is worth up to $140 million over seven years.
Under the contract, its Taos unit will store, distribute and maintain Marine Corps field and infantry combat gear, as well as chemical and biological defense equipment.
The equipment covered includes personal gear such as tents, shelters, camouflage netting, packs and tools, along with specialized suits and masks that protect marines from chemical, biological and other threats.
