Elite Jets, the luxury private jet operator based in Dubai, is hoping to attract more corporate VIPs and leisure travellers to its service after taking delivery of the first Gulfstream G450 aircraft available to charter in the emirate.
One of the most popular business jets in the world, the US-made G450 is fitted with upgraded engines, the latest avionics and aerodynamic technology and comfortably seats 14 passengers in luxurious accommodation. The aircraft currently sells for about $40 million and there is a four-year waiting list.
“I am extremely pleased with our new aircraft. Our clients will truly enjoy with great pleasure their travel experience on board this brand new G450,” said Ammar Balkar, board member, president and chief executive of Elite Jets.
“This G450 is currently the first and only one available for charter in Dubai and it is more than an aircraft, it's a completely luxurious experience with its extra added facilities and superb amenities offering the ultimate in private jet travel.”
The G450 has a range of almost 5,000 statute miles and a maximum cruising altitude of up to 45,000 feet, with the ability to climb to its initial cruising altitude of 41,000 feet in less than 23 minutes.
It also boasts a state-of-the-art entertainment system, leather club chairs, a 100 percent fresh air system and a therapeutic oxygen outlet with bubble humidifier inside the cabin
Set up in 2004, Elite Jets provides charter, aircraft sales brokerage and aircraft management services.
Its charter clients include royalty, celebrities, VIPs, business and corporate executives as well as leisure travellers from the Middle East and around the world.
