PC maker DTK is planning to establish a service centre in the region offering warranty fulfillment along with a host of other customer services.
The company has not yet disclosed full details of the project, but Nimer Al Attal, managing director at DTK, revealed the service centre will carry out RMA procedures such as warranty repairs.
DTK says that the advent of the service centre means it will be able to promise a much-reduced RMA timescale. “We will have a turnaround time of five days for any device in the whole region,” asserted Al Attal.
Although the manufacturer has not yet detailed the proposed location of the centre it did reveal that it would be setting it up in conjunction with a third party.
“The service centre will be under another name that is not in fact owned by DTK and it will not only service DTK, but products in the whole region,” concluded Al Attal.
