POP DIVA: Christina Aguilera will play her first Middle East concert in Abu Dhabi.

US pop diva Christina Aguilera will become the latest international superstar to grace the stage at Emirates Palace when she performs a one-off concert at the Abu Dhabi hotel next month.

The gig, scheduled to take place on Oct. 24, will be the first time the 27-year-old Grammy award winner has performed in the Middle East and organisers expect demand for tickets to be high, UAE daily The National reported on Monday.

Ticket prices and allocations to see Aguilera, known for her racy outfits and hits such as Dirrty, Beautiful and Genie in a Bottle, are set to be announced next week and will go on sale the last week in September.
