The world’s first green monitor from Fujitsu Siemens that switches off automatically to save power is now available in the Middle East.
Part of the company's SCENICVIEW Premium Line ECO range, the monitors use zero-watt technology to ensure no power is drawn when computers aren’t in use. Generally, monitors in standby mode will continue to use between one to six watts of power.
Fujitsu Siemens have already received thousands of advance orders for the 20 inch and 22 inch ECO monitors from customers across the EMEA region.
The monitors also feature automatic controls to adapt display brightness with ambient light, which can offer power savings of up to 30%.
Fujitsu Siemens plans to introduce a 24 and 26 inch model to the ECO zero-watt monitor portfolio soon.
