Aquitainia’s swank US $1.49bn Hollywood face

Hollywood actress Hillary Swank has been roped in to be the face of the new US $1.49 billion (AED5.47 billion) Aquitainia development on The World islands mega development according to the project's joint developers Select Property and Select Group.

Select Group CEO Rahail Aslam also said US singer Kelly Rowland would perform at the sales launch of the project, which is scheduled to take place at the Buddha Bar on the eve of Cityscape Dubai.

The double island development is spread over 90,000m² on Nakheel Properties' man-made archipelago of 300 islands located 4km off the coast of Dubai.

The World is one of several artificial island projects being constructed in Dubai. Nakheel is also constructing the three Palm Islands.
