Executives from the Municipality and ISIT announce the deal.

Ajman Municipality is to update its storage infrastructure, through a deal with storage provider ISIT.

The deal will provide the Municipality and Planning Department of Ajman Government with a centralized SAN storage system which will handle storage for a wide array of data including Geographic Information Systems (GIS), file servers, web portal, Microsoft Exchange and services.

The new infrastructure will be based on a Netapp FAS 3020 solution, to give a unified storage environment to consolidate data, with high availability, secure storage, easy disaster recovery and scalability to hundreds of terabytes of data.
