UAE call rates cut for Eid

UAE telecoms operators du and Etisalat have announced special offers on call rates during the Eid Al Firt holiday.
Du is offering off-peak rates for all international calls made during the three days of Eid, along with reduced rate national and international SMS, which will be charged at 15 fils and 45 fils respectively.
The UAE’s second operator also revealed that its SMS Ramadan Challenge, which tested contestants on their knowledge of Ramadan, UAE culture and language, received more than 2.3 million SMS hits during the twenty-seven days of Ramadan.
Etisalat will also charge off peak rates for all international calls during Eid, In addition, E-Vision, Etisalat’s cable TV provider will make all of its channel’s free to view from 30th September to 5th October.
