Canon has updated Middle East partners on its channel strategy and product roadmap following the recent Photokina event in Europe.
The imaging products and photographic vendor took more than 60 tier-two resellers to the Germany-based conference as a reward for their sales achievements during the third quarter.
Canon bosses from the Middle East used the trip to exchange market insights with partners from countries such as Egypt and Saudi Arabia and outline their forthcoming plans for the channel. The company also gave a seminar on sales and marketing strategies for the region.
“Canon’s success in the MENA region has been built on a number of factors, not least of all the relationship we have with our partners,” claimed Anurag Agrawal, CCI Director at Canon Middle East. “We are committed to developing channel relations across the region and Photokina 2008 provides the perfect platform to do this.”
Canon says this year’s Photokina partner gathering was the latest in an ongoing schedule of events designed to support dealers and provide a greater understanding of its imaging equipment among the channel.
