Cityscape Saudi Arabia launched

by ArabianBusiness.com staff writer  on Saturday, 11 October 2008

GCC partner Saudi Arabia will get its own Cityscape exhibition from next year, the organisers of Cityscape have said.

According to the latest survey, more than 285 civil construction projects worth around US $260 billion (SAR978 billion) are currently underway or in design in Saudi Arabia.

"The Cityscape portfolio now encompasses most of the world with 10 separate events," said Rohan Marwaha, Cityscape managing director.

"Cityscape Saudi Arabia is a natural addition. With an indigenous and growing population of 19 million and organic growth of its own, Saudi Arabia is not as exposed to potential downturns as other Arabian Gulf states and is less reliant on overseas investment."

Cityscape Saudi Arabia will be held between June 14 and 16, 2009.
