Palm Deira seeks sub-developers month

The Palm Deira is looking for sub-developers to build on the new reclaimed land.
Sixteen plots of land on Palm Deira will go on sale in November through a sealed bid process. Palm Deira development director Gavin Boyd said, "These plots will vary between 4000 to 8000 m2."
In addition, last week Nakheel revealed that Deira Island Front at the base of Palm Deira would have three 12-lane bridges that would connect the island to mainland Deira.
The bridges will be constructed between the mouth of Dubai Creek and Port Hamriya Deira via Abu Baker Al Siddique Road, Abu Hail Road and Omar Bin Khattab Road.
Decking has been laid for the first of these bridges, joining Abu Baker Al Siddique Road, and is due for completion in May 2009, with an access road to Deira Island to be completed by November 2009.
