Dubai-based Union Properties' (UP) Index Tower, which is located on Sheikh Zayed Road, will be topped out by the end of this month according to the developer.
The 80-storey multi-purpose tower is a creation of award-winning architects Foster & Partners.
"Construction work is almost at an end on what will be one of the first of a new era of ‘intelligent buildings' destined to be the skyscrapers of the future," said UP CEO Simon Azzam.
The project is expected to be completed early next year.
Index comprises 25 floors of office space, 40 floors of apartments, seven floors of penthouses and three levels for exclusive retails outlets.
