Adding Facebook as CRM communication channel will boost customer service says Abdel Meguid.

Businesses now have another means to communicate with their customers, with the launch of Facebook CRM.

Facebook CRM, developed by LINK Development, integrates the capabilities of Microsoft Dynamics CRM with the Facebook platform, to allow companies to contact customers and interact with them on the popular social networking site.

Companies that run Microsoft Dynamics CRM will be able to offer communications with customers through the site, to allow customers to submit queries, track orders and so on, through their Facebook pages.

While many companies have already launched their own Facebook profiles as a way of communicating with customers, Facebook CRM will allow companies to create dedicated communications channels with customers.

“Businesses always look to go where their customers are going, in order to offer convenience and demonstrate commitment and understanding of customer needs and preferences,” explained Hanan Abdel Meguid, CEO of LINK Development. “Integrating Facebook as the latest communication medium with customers is another way of adding flexibility and convenience by offering service where users like to be online.”

“Facebook has passed the stage of merely being seen as a social networking site to a powerful communication medium for both businesses and individuals. Facebook CRM enables businesses to harness the popularity of the site and open a new communication channel with customers,” she added.

LINK Development will market Facebook CRM through its offices across the Middle East, North Africa and Europe.
