Sharp on Monday launched in the Middle East what the Japanese electronics maker is billing as the world’s largest widescreen LCD TV.

The 108-inch TV - roughly equals four 52-inch displays - has resolution of 1920 x 1080 coupled a variety of inputs, including 3 HDMI for your HD equipment and DVI-I connectors, Sharp said in a statement.

It said the TV has a contrast ratio of 1200:1 and 400-cd/m2 brightness and offers a 176-degree viewing angle.
