Kuwait's National Mobile Telecommunications Co (Wataniya), the country's second-largest mobile operator, posted a 64 percent rise in third-quarter net profit on Wednesday.
Net income in the three months to Sept 30 was 25.59 million dinars ($95.56 million), or 51.07 fils per share, compared with 15.61 million dinars, or 31.14 fils per share in the same period a year ago, Wataniya said in a statement on the bourse website.
Forecasts by two banks in a Reuters survey ranged from 24.30 million dinars to 27.40 million dinars for third-quarter net profit. (Reuters)
