US software maker Oracle said on Tuesday Palm Utilities has deployed one of its software applications to manage the company's billing and payment processes.
Oracle said Palm Utilities, which provides district cooling and water services in Dubai, has deployed Oracle Utilities Customer Care and Billing.
Oracle said the application will make Palm Utilities more responsive to customers and speed up the billing process.
"Oracle enables Palm Utilities to harness its customer data, providing a complete view of customer and billing information to support more responsive customer service and faster bill processing," Bastian Fischer, vice president and general manager of Oracle Utilities for Europe, the Middle East and Africa (EMEA), said in a statement.
Murtaza Chevel, chief financial officer (CFO) of Palm Utilities, said the application "supports our ongoing focus on customer care and streamlining operations".
Palm Utilities expects "the solution to provide for additional improvements for many years to come as we aggressively expand our business", Chevel said.
The financial details of the deal were not disclosed.
