Middle East IT consulting firm Hyperlink has won a contract to implement a human resources management system from US software maker Oracle for Kuwait University, the company said on Wednesday.
Hyperlink said it has also won a contract to upgrade an Oracle software application the university already uses to automate its financial business processes.
Hyperlink will deploy Oracle HRMS from the company's E-Business Suite of applications in all the university's departments throughout Kuwait and upgrade Oracle Financials, it said.
Anwar Alyatam, general secretary of Kuwait University, said in a statement the new system "will help Kuwait University streamline its HR processes and provide timely information to transform the way we do business and serve our constituents".
Hyperlink said the main Oracle HRMS modules being used for the implementation are Oracle Human Resources, Oracle Self-Service, Oracle Payroll, Oracle Learning Management, Oracle HR intelligence and Oracle iRecruitment.
The financial details of the deal were not disclosed.
