UK-based IT security firm Sophos on Wednesday said it has opened an office in Dubai Internet City (DIC) that will serve as its Middle East headquarters.
Sophos said the office will be headed up by Kamel Heus, who has worked at the company's headquarters in Oxford since 2002.
Sophos CEO Steve Munford said in a statement the Middle East continues to be a "valued market" for the company.
"...having been committed to serving this region for a number of years via a network of partners, we felt it time to strengthen our presence by opening an office dedicated to the market," Munford said.
