Kronos sets up Mideast distribution channels

US software maker Kronos said on Wednesday it has set up distribution channels in the Middle East.

Kronos, which makes workforce management applications, said it will focus on growing its business in the Gulf.

"More formally providing our solutions in the Middle East is extremely important for Kronos," Mick Adamson, Kronos vice president of international operations, said in a statement.

Kronos said its products will be distributed through Bytes Technology Group and Security 1.

Kronos' Workforce Central suite of workforce management applications will be officially introduced in the Middle East at the Human Assets Expansion Middle East conference, being held Nov. 16-17 in Dubai, it said.

Kronos' customers in the Gulf include Dubai construction giant Al Naboodah, it said.
