ASGC wins US$299m Nakheel contract

Al Shafar General Contracting (ASGC) has been awarded a US$299m from Nakheel to construct a mixed-residential development in Jumeirah Heights.
Jumeirah Heights, due for completion in 2010, is to consist of three low-rise apartment buildings and 17 townhouses within an urban community development.
Bishoy Azmy, CEO of ASGC, one of the UAE's largest construction companies, said: "Our continued focus on reliability and integrity has played a vital role in making us a recognised contracting leader in this highly competitive market place.
