Etihad's Russian first

Etihad Holidays is offering packages to Russia from December 1.

Etihad Holidays has launched packages to Russia as parent airline Etihad Airways gets set to launch its first flight to Moscow on December 1.

Packages start from AED 2980 (US $811) per person, including flights and accommodation for three nights in the Russian capital.

Extensions to St Petersburg are available from AED 3340 ($909) for two nights, including rail tickets from Moscow.

As an added promotion, every customer who books and pays for one of Etihad's holiday packages before October 31 will be entered into a draw to win back the cost of their holiday.

Etihad Holidays is also offering promotions on breaks to more than 50 hotels in 12 major cities around the world.

As platinum sponsor of football club Chelsea FC, the operator has put together breaks to London, including accommodation at the Copthorne Hotel Stamford Bridge, dinner on the night of arrival, a guided tour of the stadium and match day tickets, with package prices starting from AED 3965 ($1079) per person.

Other new packages include: two nights at the five-star Shangri-La Barr Al Jissah Resort and Spa, Muscat, from AED 2085 ($568) per person; three nights at the four-star Protea Hotel Balaika in Johannesburg from AED 4980 ($1356) per person; and three nights at the three-star Holiday Inn Central Plaza, Beijing, from AED 3770 ($1026).
