Abu Dhabi's bourse could postpone the launch of exchange-traded funds (ETFs) because of recent market turmoil, its CEO said on Wednesday.
Speaking in an interview with newswire Bloomberg, Tom Healy said the first ETFs are not likely to be listed "until early next year".
"The projects we had in mind before the crisis will be just as relevant when it eases off,'' Healy was quoted as saying.
"Our plans for derivatives are for the end of next year, so hopefully we'll be out of this problem by then."
