du MyFamily monthly plan offers a 50% discount on calls made between family members

du recently launched its new MyFamily mobile plan that offers a 50% discount on calls made between family members.

The discount will be applicable to family members who are not du customers as well. In addition, customers can avail of the ‘sponsored call feature’ that allows Pay as you Go members to not pay for calls made to members within the family.

It works with the main account holder (MyFamily head) subscribing for the du monthly plan, which can accommodate up to 15 family members. AED 5 will be charged to the MyFamily head account for each family member registered. He/she will also be responsible for paying the bill for any other monthly plan lines within the group.

If you’re already a du monthly plan subscriber and want to create a MyFamily group for free, SMS ‘FAMILY’ followed by the du or Etisalat mobile numbers that you’d like to register (separated by commas) to 5555.
