Property TV, an international property channel with a footprint covering the Middle East, India, South East Asia, Australia, Europe, Russia and Africa, was launched in Dubai last month.
The emirate was selected as the first launch spot for the channel in view of its position as one of the world’s hottest property destinations, stated channel promoter India Nivesh TV Networks Pte Ltd of Singapore.
“This region lacked a property channel with an international reach. As the GCC, Singapore and the Indian Subcontinent have emerged as the preferred property investment destinations, this channel will air property-related programmes,” said Rajesh Nuwal, managing director, India Nivesh TV Network, Singapore and India Nivesh Ltd, India.
“Investment in property has become the most favoured type of investment today, and there is a need for a one-stop shop channel for investors and property developers. The goal of Property TV is to become the definitive marketplace for buyers, while presenting developers and estate agents with a new platform to market their properties.,” added Nuwal.
Property TV has also set up a production and editorial team in Dubai to do Gulf-specific programming. The programme grid will include a one-hour Gulf Live show highlighting important property projects in the region. Additionally, a programme titled WaterFront will focus on waterside properties in Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Ras Al Khaimah, Ajman, Umm Al Quwain, Qatar, Oman, Saudi Arabia and other parts of the region and the world.
