In an effort to create a total offering for the meetings industry in the Gulf region, Reed Travel Exhibitions has announced the Gulf Incentive, Business Travel and Meetings Exhibition (GIBTM) is developing a new area for live communication and event production companies.
Exhibition director Graeme Barnett said there was "a need to complete the offering to the Gulf region's meetings and events industry" by attracting top-end live communication and event production agencies to the exhibition taking place at ADNEC in Abu Dhabi from March 31 to April 2 2009.
According to the exhibition's organisers, some of the region's "top experts and professional organisations" have already shown a strong interest in attending.
Providing a selection of the best live communication and production agencies from across the Gulf is seen as a natural addition to destination and venue products already exhibiting at GIBTM.
The aim, according to Barnett, is to give corporate buyers the chance to meet the support solutions for their events, incentives, congresses and conferences.
"I think certainly, from our point of view, we have very big expectations of year three and I think the industry has them as well," Barnett added.
