Adaox, the Middle East agent of antivirus software maker ESET, has lined up Al-Jassim Electronics as a distributor and retail partner for the vendor in Saudi Arabia.

Al-Jassim will take charge of promoting ESET NOD32 and ESET Smart Security software to the SMB and retail sector in the Kingdom through its network of 30 PCNet showrooms.

Neo Neophytou, managing director at ADAOX Middle East described Al-Jassim as a well known distributor in Saudi with a superior value offering. “Al-Jassim’s market knowledge and experience combined with strong after sales service and technical support facilities locally make them the ideal partner to distribute ESET NOD32 and ESET Smart Security across the Kingdom,” proclaimed Neophytou.

“We're confident that Al-Jassim’s expertise in the SMB and retail sector will help us increase ESET’s market share even further in Saudi Arabia,” he added.

Al-Jassim boasts that it was approached by a few vendors in the antivirus field with a view to retailing its products but settled on ESET’s products.

“We evaluated ESET NOD32 and compared its performance with other antivirus solutions and found it to be the fastest, lightest and most trouble free antivirus,” said Basheer Palick, sales manager at Al-Jassim Electronics.

“Al-Jassim’s major share of business has always been with the regional SMB sector and as such, NOD32 will have a competitive edge if you take both price and simplicity of use into account. We are also very comfortable with Neo Neophytou and his team and are happy with their support,” concluded Palick.
