US-based United Airlines has launched flights from Washington DC to Dubai.
The service, which began operations at the end of last month, will enable Middle East travellers access to United’s expansive US and Candian network.
At present the airline has access to some 80 destinations in America, including LA, New York and the Caribbean.
“This new route further strengthens our presence in the Middle East and allows us to take advantage of the growing commerce between the region and the United States,” said Marcel Fuchs, United’s managing director for Europe, Africa and the Middle East. “Additionally, this flight adds to our international route network, creating new revenue opportunities and provides customers with a daily service they can rely on.”
