Epicor announces the launch of its next-generation ERP solution at a press conference

Epicor has just launched its next-generation ERP solution - Epicor 9 - in the Middle East.

Expected to be made available before the end of 2008, Epicor 9 is a converged version of its ERP applications tailored to deliver real-time business management using Microsoft Office applications and mobile devices such as Windows Mobile, BlackBerry and the Apple iPhone.

“Epicor 9 is unparalleled because it is designed for the way people work today, is built for business, and is ready for change. Our strategy is to provide both new and existing customers with unprecedented flexibility and choice. It’s about delivering business without barriers,” said Basil Daniells, regional director for Epicor MENA and India

Epicor is focusing on developing solutions around Web 2.0 concepts that enhance collaboration and knowledge sharing.

“With the launch of Epicor 9 we are looking at significantly enhancing our market leadership in the mid-market segment,” Daniells added.
