As 2008 draws to a close there is one final hurdle for planners - the annual staff party. MIME looks at four festive hotspots for a celebration guaranteed to be the talk of the office well into the New Year.

The Grand Pavilion venue located in the Beach House at Manafaru resort is available for hire at a cost of AED 33,060 (US $9,000) per evening.

Guests are welcomed with a glass of chilled mulled wine and a beachside choir. Food and beverages are charged separately and could include a choice of canapés, a fresh seafood selection or even a seasonal roast with all the trimmings.

The venue also provides a great chance for guests to dance the night away to a special live mix of classics, jazz, blues, rock or samba.
