Dubai police rescue two abducted girls

Police have rescued two young sisters after they were snatched from near their home on Monday morning.

Dubai Police CID confirmed that a man was being questioned at Bur Dubai police station in relation to the incident, UAE daily The national reported.

Police sources say the suspect is an Egyptian male and that he took them to the roof of the building close to the Burj Dubai development where they were found by officers, the paper said.

It is not yet known whether the girls, aged four and 12, have been harmed, it added.
