Nakheel completes design of Palm Deira bridges

Nakheel has announced the completion of designs for three 12-lane bridges that will connect the Palm Deira with mainland Deira.
Construction on the first bridge, to be 1,000 meters long and 15 meters tall, has already begun. Excavation work on the second bridge, also 1,000 meters is said to be in progress.
Commenting on the US$544.4 million project, Abdulla Bin Sulayem, Operations Director of Palm Deira, said: "We congratulate Parsons Group on completing design work on the Palm Deira bridges to the highest specifications.
This is a huge project and will include the installation of 44 bridges and a network of modern roads, intersections and metro tunnels. With the continued support of Parsons Group and RTA Palm Deira will be ready to properly service its residents once complete."
