Some spa-break packages include a Hydrothermal Garden Shower Experience.

Bolton says that because the resort boasts the biggest spa in the Middle East with extensive facilities including eight deluxe and four Royal Spa pavilions, the Hydrothermal Garden and the Garden Hammam, the resort is shaping up nicely as a destination spa.

This facility, as well as a wide range of leisure activities on offer has attracted the meetings crowd. Not only that, but its many venues and indoor and outdoor spaces, make Banyan Tree Al Areen an "ideal venue" for incentive groups.

Bolton stresses that together with the BIC, which offers a variety of options for groups and individuals ranging from on- and off-track driving experiences, race events, concerts and team building activities to Formula 1, V8 and the Hummer Driving Academy, the resort is putting Bahrain on the map for corporate and leisure travellers alike.
