Acer launches new Aspire notebook

The new Acer Aspire 5735

Acer has introduced the latest model to its Aspire line – Acer Aspire 5735 – featuring a gemstone design and high definition multimedia capabilities.

The notebook, which comes preinstalled with either Microsoft Windows Vista Home Premium or Windows Vista Home Basic, offers a superior multimedia experience with its 15.6 inch HD LCD panel and a 16:9 aspect ratio for cinematic views. It also comes complete with two integrated speakers and HD audio support.

Powered by an Intel Centrino 2 processor, the Aspire 5735 features a touchpad which supports circular-motion scrolling and pinch-action zoom for convenient navigation.

Acer believes that the 5735 will be the ‘next mainstream notebook’, catering to a growing demand by consumers for machines with higher performance.

“Acer products are ergonomically designed with the end user in mind. The 5735 will surprise a lot of users, and its high definition and portability will appeal to tech-savvy consumers,” said Mark Prosser, product marketing manager of Mobility Products, Acer Computer Middle East.
